She spent her childhood as a competitive cheerleader before joining the Japanese idol group AKB48 in 2014. She gained international recognition after competing in a Korean survival show, which led to her debut in the temporary group IZ*ONE, where she spent two and a half years promoting in South Korea. 

After the group's conclusion, she returned to Japan to continue her career with AKB48, eventually serving as a center for the group before graduating in early 2024. 

She made a highly anticipated return to the Korean music scene as the oldest member of SAY MY NAME, bringing a decade of industry experience and a well-established global fanbase to the group's launch.
