Jessica, born in California, developed a passion for singing during her childhood. Her K-pop journey began when she was scouted by SM Entertainment in Korea in 2000 while on vacation with her sister, Krystal. As a main vocalist in Girls' Generation, Jessica was known for her unique voice and her "Ice Princess" image.
