> **Miyeon** (미연) is a South Korean Female Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 2022. She  started in group I-dle. 

An only child, Miyeon wanted to be a singer since elementary school. According to her, if not a singer, she would have been an art teacher.

She passed an audition for YG Entertainment in 2010 and was a trainee for five years, even being part of a nine-member pre-debut group that included the future members of BLACKPINK. When YG decided to debut a smaller group without Miyeon, she was frustrated that all her hard work seemed to be going nowhere and considered quitting. However, she took suggestions to try and transfer to Cube Entertainment. In the meantime, she worked as a freelance singer and even appeared as an associate vocalist for Urban Zakapa's Canada Tour in 2016.

It took her only 11 months at Cube to debut with (G)I-DLE. Miyeon has thanked Soyeon for her kindness and help during their training period.

Her I-DLE bandmates claim she is the group's mood maker, thanks to her bright and bubbly personality.
