> **PJ** (PJ) is a South Korean Male Artist. He started in group Big Ocean.

One of the first hearing-impaired idol in South Korea, part of likewise impaired idol group Big Ocean.

Around the age of three he had an event where he suffered from a high fever. Around this time, PJ developed a strong interest in the radio, listening to it at high volumes. Concerned about his hearing, his parents tried to hide the radio, but he would consistently find it and continue listening loudly. Eventually, when his parents noticed he wasn't responding to his name promptly, they took him for a test, and he was diagnosed with hearing impairment.

He initially wore hearing aids in both ears for several years. At nine years old, he underwent cochlear implant surgery in one ear. Since then, he has continued to communicate with the world and engage with music with the aid of hearing aids and cochlear implants. While working as a YouTuber creating content about his disability, he joined Parastar Entertainment.
