Lee Namyi

Lee Namyi (이남이) was a South Korean Male Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 1988. He started in group Love & Peace. He passed away in 2010.

Married and had a two daughters.

Despite not releasing anything solo since 1995, he worked with his daughter Lee Danbi and released the "Iron Bag Project" with her. Later, he was the composer for many songs from the "Iron Bag Brothers".

In 2000 he participated in many cultural events and was appointed as a member of the Ministry of Justice's correctional committee, where he helped educate inmates by holding creative writing classes.

He passed away due to lung cancer on January 29, 2010. He was a heavy smoker and left a will for everyone: "It is difficult to quit smoking, so do not learn to smoke at all."
