Sandara Park (다라) is a South Korean Female Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 2004. She started in group 2NE1.
Dara's career began in the Philippines, where she moved with her family in 1995. In 2004, she gained massive popularity after competing in the Filipino talent show Star Circle Quest, finishing as the runner-up. This led to a successful acting and singing career in the Philippines, where she released music and starred in films and television dramas, establishing herself as a prominent celebrity.
In 2007, Dara returned to South Korea and joined YG Entertainment as a trainee. After several years of training, she officially debuted as a vocalist and visual of the girl group 2NE1 in May 2009. Within 2NE1, Dara was known for her unique and often experimental hairstyles, her youthful appearance, and her charming "quirky" personality, which endeared her to fans.
During 2NE1's hiatus and after its disbandment in 2016, Dara continued her activities in various fields. She remained active in television as a host and judge on several shows in both Korea and the Philippines. She also continued to release solo music and participate in collaborations.
After departing from YG Entertainment in 2021, Dara signed with Abyss Company, continuing her solo music career and maintaining her presence in entertainment.
