5tion (오션) is a South Korean Boy Group that debuted in 2001. They consist of 6 members: Ilkwon, Boseok, Changwoo, Junho, Juno and Junyoung.

5tion (pronounced "Ocean") is one of the longest-running groups in the history of Korean music, having debuted in 2001 under Star World. The group's trajectory is marked by one of the most complex and unstable lineup structures in the industry, defined by multiple reincarnations, prolonged hiatuses, and various legal shifts regarding the brand. Originally a quintet of sophisticated ballad singers, the group achieved immediate success with the classic "More Than Words", establishing themselves as a benchmark for vocal harmony. However, internal differences and military obligations led to a succession of changes that divided the band's history into distinct phases, often with little to no member overlap between them, save for the name itself.

The evolution of 5tion transitioned from a mainstream R&B group in the 2000s to a unit focused almost exclusively on the Japanese market starting in 2013. A critical turning point occurred in 2021, when the then-stable Japanese lineup (consisting of Len, Noa, and Marine) broke away from management to form the independent group FL1X. In response, original member Sohn Ilkwon, who holds the legal rights to the name, overhauled the group by recruiting new talent, including former members of other groups such as Junyoung (Zica from JJCC). Currently, 5tion operates as an entertainment brand led by Ilkwon, maintaining a flexible formation that preserves the legacy of Korean ballads while navigating an independent and rotating production structure.
