한 Balming Tiger

Balming Tiger (바밍타이거) is a South Korean Co-ed Group that debuted in 2018. They consist of 11 members: Abyss, Henson, Jan’ Qui, Mudd the student, Omega Sapien, San Yawn, Seoulthesoloist, Sogumm, Unsinkable, bj wnjn and Lee Suho.

Balming Tiger traces back to the underground nightlife and indie music scene of Itaewon. Conceived by a small group of creative directors, producers, and DJs, the project was envisioned not as a conventional music act, but as an expansive, multidisciplinary collective. Drawing inspiration from traditional Asian remedies and local youth culture, they established their operational base in a small apartment studio in Hongdae to write, produce, and design everything in-house. Rather than following standard agency trainee pipelines, the crew grew organically by recruiting unconventional artists through chance encounters, SoundCloud discoveries, and word-of-mouth recommendations across the local scene.

Despite facing early lineup transitions as founding members departed, the collective continually expanded its roster with distinct talents from diverse artistic backgrounds, pioneering a self-described "alternative" space that blends genre-defying music with bold visual art.

They continue to release music, tours, and perform at major global festivals operating independently through their own label and Youtube channel, keeping their multidisciplinary approach with a diverse roster of performers, visual directors, and creative producers.
