Kang Wonrae

Kang Wonrae (강원래) was a South Korean Male Artist. He started in group Clon. He retired in 2005.

On November 2000, while promoting their 4th Album, he was involved in a Motorbike accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down, leading to a period of deep depression and bitterness. During his rehabilitation, singer and choreographer Kim Song stood by his side at all times, raising his spirits. Once he improved, he married her.
Eventually he made a comeback as part of Clone in 2005 with the "wheelchair dance", but that was his last release as a singer. He started lecturing and promoting inclusion and performed around the nation with a troupe of talented disabled artists.
In 2013, after trying for years, Kim Song became pregnant and they had a son.
In 2018 he appeared at the opening of the Paralympic Games of PyeongChang.
Kang also had his share of scandals and incidents, but none overshadow his perseverance and will to live.
