한 Chanyeon
Chanyeon (찬연) is a South Korean Male Artist. He started in group Big Ocean.
One of the first hearing-impaired idol in South Korea, part of likewise impaired idol group Big Ocean.
Originally, Chanyeon wasn't interested in K-Pop. Before his idol debut, he worked at Korea University Anam Hospital. He was invited to an appointment ceremony for hearing-impaired actor Troy Kotsur, who was being named a public relations ambassador. At that event, he met actor Kim Ri-hu, well-known in the deaf community, and through him learned about Parastar Entertainment. After an interview, he became a trainee.
