NEXZ NEXZ (넥스지) is a Global Boy Group that debuted in 2024. They consist of 7 members: Tomoya, Haru, Hyui, Seita, So Geon, Yu and Yuki. NEXZ is a Global group co-managed by "JYP Entertainment" and "Sony Music Entertainment Japan". Short for "Next Z(G)eneration," the group was formed through the survival reality competition "Nizi Project Season 2" in 2023. Multiple members possessed background experience in the entertainment industry prior to joining the group. Leader Tomoya was a long-time "JYP Entertainment" trainee, having joined the agency at age 13 alongside Haru, Seita, and Hyui. Seita worked as a child model in Japan for seven years, while Yu, Haru, and Tomoya were seasoned dancers who had actively competed in street dance and popping competitions since childhood. So Geon and Yuki were selected through global open auditions. Prior to their official release, they made an unusual pre-debut splash by featuring in major television commercial campaigns and releasing early performance videos that built immediate momentum across both Korean and Japanese markets.
