Seohyun (서현) is a South Korean Female Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 2017. She started in group Girls' Generation.
Seohyun displayed an early interest in music, particularly piano and classical genres. She was scouted by SM Entertainment in 2003 on the street and subsequently trained for six and a half years, the second-longest trainee period among the members. During her pre-debut years, she rigorously honed her vocal abilities.
As a lead vocalist of Girls' Generation, Seohyun was known for her strong vocals and upright image, earning much praise about her natural beauty.
After her contract with SM Entertainment concluded in 2017, she chose to focus primarily on an acting career, taking on various roles in dramas and musicals, and has also released solo music.
