Yang Jieun
Yang Jieun (양지은) is a South Korean Female Soloist.
An indie artist since 2000, with mild recognition from traditional competitions.
In 2010, her father was in terminal kidney failure due to diabetes, but she saved him by donating one of her kidneys to him.
After the surgery she was away from most activities recovering, and in this time she started a family and had two children. While watching "Miss Trot 1" she decided to resume her dream of singing and thus returned to activity. She would go on to win "Miss Trot 2"
Her father would outlive his diagnostic 14 years, passing away in August 2024.
