When she was young, Yunah was a member of a Children's Choir for nearly 3 years. She started as a trainee under Fantagio in 2017, moved to Source Music, but eventually transferred to BELIFT Labs to participate on "R U Next?" Survival. In total, she was a trainee for almost 6 years.
She was "R U Next?" oldest contestant, and an immediate choice for leader upon debut of Illit.
