한 Koo Junyup

Koo Junyup (구준엽) was a South Korean Male Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 2003. He started in group Clon. He retired in 2022.

Married to Taiwanese actress Seo Heewon in 2022, whom he dated over 20 years earlier while on tour in Taiwan in 1998 but had to leave due to conflicts with schedule and objections of his production company. Soo Heewon eventually married a businessman, with whom she had two children, but in 2021 she divorced him. Upon hearing the news, Koo Junyup called her old phone that was still on his contact list and it connected. They immediatly hit off. Due to the travel restrictions in both countries during the Covid pandemics, only family were allowed to travel, so Koo Junyup proposed to Seo Heewon and she accepted. He registered their marriage in Korea and on the next day traveled to Taiwan to join her. Although the plan was to register their marriage in Taiwan and then get Seo Heewon back to South Korea, he decided to live in Taiwan to help her raise her children.
