한 NCT

NCT (엔시티) is a South Korean Boy Group that debuted in 2016. They consist of 25 members: Taeyong, Chenle, Doyoung, Haechan, Jaehyun, Jaemin, Jeno, Jisung, Johnny, Mark, Renjun, Ten, Yuta, Winwin, Jungwoo, Kun, YangYang, Hendery, Xiaojun, Jaehee, Riku, Ryo, Sakuya, Sion and Yushi.

formed under the SM Rookies program, a pre-debut training team established by SM Entertainment in 2013. The system allowed the public to follow the trainees' growth through "Mickey Mouse Club" appearances, regular stage performances, and reality content before they officially joined a fixed unit.

The group was formally announced in early 2016 during a presentation titled "Neo Culture Technology," where the concept of "localization" and "infinite expansion" was introduced. An interesting aspect of this process was the focus on cultural versatility; the lineup was intentionally scouted from various countries — including Korea, China, Japan, the United States, Canada, and Thailand — to facilitate the launch of city-specific units. This experimental structure was designed to break the traditional mold of K-Pop groups, prioritizing a brand that could exist in multiple markets simultaneously under a single collective name. The initial lineup introduced units such as NCT U, NCT 127, and NCT Dream, followed by the China-based WayV and the Japan-based NCT Wish.
