Noel (노을) is a South Korean Boy Group that debuted in 2002. They consist of 4 members: Sanggon, Jeon Woo Sung, Kyunsung and Sungho.
They have 10 songs among the most popular in Korea.
formed as part of a marketing campaign for a mobile telecom by JYP Entertainment and despite this unusual promotional strategy, their debut album achieved significant sales, exceeding 100,000 copies.
The group released several recognized songs, notably "Proposal," which became a popular choice for marriage proposals and wedding ceremonies. Although the group performed at various wedding events to boost their recognition, these efforts largely did not achieve the desired outcome. Following their third album, Noel effectively disbanded due to their limited popularity and the upcoming military service of its members.
In 2011, after all members completed their military service, they decided to reunite under a new agency, ITM Entertainment. This reunion proved successful, as they managed to gain renewed popularity. They later changed agencies a couple of times before turning independent.
