wave to earth (웨이브투어스) is a South Korean Boy Group that debuted in 2019. They consist of 3 members: Daniel Kim, Dong Q and John Cha.

"wave to earth" was formedby singer-songwriter and guitarist Daniel Kim along with drummer Dongkyu Shin, who had previously played together in a jazz high school band. Seeking to build a sound centered on atmospheric lo-fi rock, indie pop, and smooth jazz elements, bassist John Cha soon joined to complete their lineup.

During their early period, they operated in the indie and underground music scene, building a presence through quiet digital releases, acoustic sessions, and live club performances in Hongdae. Rather than relying on traditional entertainment agencies, they relied on self-directed production and word-of-mouth momentum, releasing self-titled short projects that emphasized gentle melodies and English lyrics. This distinct identity gradually caught the attention of global listeners through online music communities, allowing the group to transition from local live houses to major international tours and music festivals while maintaining their signature approach to indie music.
