2026-05-15

  • Several different formats for " ' " that are used around the world have been better normalized on the database and searches. We use the simple quote character across the database, replacing any other simular character such as "prime", "acute", "#39", "grave" and "rsquote" with their Unicode counterparts.
  • Improved text match on Artist and MV names for Melon / CircleChart.

  • Improved local captcha for image, enforced permanent ban on obvious malicious intent. 
  • "Unban me" button now also requires captcha, and is only available to non permanent bans.

I decided to quit the Non-Organic views after realizing it would take some work to import the old database schema to the new just for this.

Soridata has returned hugely cleaned up and with all community features removed. Most changes remove emphasys from Youtube Views. Full list of changes:

  • Milestones removed;
  • Historic Top 30 MVs removed;
  • Companies removed;
  • Youtube Channel list/register removed;
  • Followers from Artists removed;
  • Articles removed;
  • Database download removed;
  • CSV download removed;
  • RSS removed;
  • Community edit access removed (core members still have access);
  • All mentions of Non-organic views were removed from pages that are not related to it;
  • Non-organic views pages (recent, per artist, per year) offline;
  • MV pages are now only pop-ins, Graphics, daily views and likes removed; Tech stats removed;
  • Some user options were removed;
  • ADSense support removed;
  • Discord Channel deleted;
  • Contact address removed; The site will now be my hobby solo project and nobody has a say in it.

  • The domain soridata.com was moved to another registrar, but hostinger will still be the main host for the site.

2026-01-21

  • We have moved daisuki.com.br away from soridata.com to prevent issues with one affecting the other, since the suspension of Soridata had taken down daisuki.com.br too.
  • Daisuki.com.br was restored as a static site on a new server.

2026-01-19

  • The site was suspended by host Hostinger after a brigading campaign by fantards who complained about the Non-organic views being "fake" and "misleading". Although the host agreed to unsuspend the site, we decided to take it down.
