U;Nee (유니) was a South Korean Female Soloist who debuted solo in 2003. She passed away in 2007.

She ended her life at January 21th. There were rumors on many Korean websites that the cause of her death was depression due to the lackluster sales of her albums, as well as criticism of her image. Soon after her death, her mother held a press conference to quash any rumors. She confirmed that U;Nee suffered from bouts of depression and was taking medication for her condition. Apparently she was very introverted and suffered from all the pressure she received even as a young child.
