TL;DR: There will be discrepancies for artists who won awards before 2008, or awards in days without an actual aired show. These are also Weekly Awards totals, so they don't include Yearly or Monthly awards (some show used to have them).
We store awards only starting 2006. Data for M Countdown is sketchy before 2008 and hard to find, and some Music Shows went extinct in 2005 like Live Music Camp.
Because of that, artists who won awards prior to 2008, or during M Countdown 2007/2008 will be missing data.
Notice that collaborations between artists are listed properly under the collaboration.
Another point is that a lot of fan-sites add awards that never existed, usually for days when there was no broadcast nor official comment. In these cases, we do NOT include the award as they were never confirmed.
While we understand not adding data before 2006 makes the list incomplete, it would be unfair to add partial data that favours high profile artists which had fans recording only their awards. Therefore we only include confirmed and verifiable data for everyone, which means awards starting 2006 (except M Countdown, which we include starting 2007).

If you think you spot a mistake, please verify on sites like Namu or Wikipedia the precise date of the award in question to double check if there is indeed a mistake. Note that Totals alone cannot point to where the error is. You need to provide the exact date of a show missing/wrong so we can double check before any change can be made.
