We use Digital Streaming because it better complements Physical Sales, and digital downloads should be counted towards streaming anyway.

Circle Digital does offer an Score for each song, but they do not explain how that is calculated. What is known is that the Digital score formula has changed a couple of times throgh the years and, therefore, we cannot use it to compare songs. As such, we ignore their unreliable score and just use a score based on the song position.

Score is calculated as the sum of every time a music charts on the top 100 CircleChart Digital Weekly, with the first place scoring 200 points, second place scores 150, and 3rd onwards 98 thru 1 at 100th. Different musics of the same artist are counted.

Collaborations award 50% of the music score for each artist in the collaboration (and obviously full points to the collaboration itself), as well counting as an chart appearance for each artist in that collab.

CircleChart exists since 2010 (it was called GAON until Jun 2022), CircleChart is the official Korean Government's music accessment benchmark, called MIAK (Music Industry Association of Korea) before 2010
