EJAE (이재) is a South Korean Female Soloist who debuted solo in 2025.
She is a Korean-American born in Korea.
EJAE was a trainee at SM Entertainment for about 10 years, but by the time she was ready to debut, the company considered her too old for either debutting in a group or as a soloist. Frustrated, she returned to the USA.
She decided to continue in the music scene as a composer and songwriter. Her first hit composition was "Psycho", by Red Velvet. She later also composed Aespa's hit song "Drama" and many other songs for multiple artists.
With the success as a composer, she expanded to participate in soundtracks.
EJAE became known worldwide as the singing voice behind Rumi's character in the global Netflix hit movie "KPop Demon Hunters", in which she also helped with composing.
