한 Fromis 9 Fromis 9 (프로미스나인) is a South Korean Girl Group that debuted in 2018. They consist of 5 members: Chaeyoung, Hayoung, Jiheon, Jiwon and Nagyung. They have 4 songs among the most popular in Korea.Formed through the Mnet reality survival show 'Idol School', the group gained initial visibility through pre-debut singles and reality broadcasting. Throughout their career, the group encountered a unique series of operational and industry obstacles. The group underwent multiple management transfers across their career, shifting from Stone Music Entertainment and Off The Record Entertainment to Pledis Entertainment, and finally ASND Entertainment. A significant disruption occurred following the 2019 Mnet voting manipulation investigation, which revealed that final rankings on Idol School had been altered by production staff, bringing public scrutiny and temporary promotional halts to the group's activities.
