Hyo

Hyo (효연) is a South Korean Female Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 2016. She started in group Girls' Generation.

Hyoyeon began dancing at a very young age, specializing in a wide range of dance styles. Her exceptional talent led her to join SM Entertainment in 2000 through an audition, where she trained for seven years, earning her reputation as one of the agency's top dancers.

Prior to her debut, she honed her skills further with language and dance training in China and famously performed as BoA's silhouette dancer. As the main dancer of Girls' Generation, Hyoyeon was known for her powerful stage presence and intricate choreography.

Following the group's period of individual activities from 2017, she diversified her career by becoming an active DJ under the name DJ HYO, releasing solo music based in rapping, and appearing on various variety shows, continuing her work with SM Entertainment.
