Keena
Keena (키나) is a South Korean Female Artist. She started in group FIFTY FIFTY.
Keena, born Song Jakyung (legally changed to Song Yuni in 2024), developed an interest in dance and music during elementary school. She honed her skills at a vocal and dance academy to prepare for agency auditions. In her third year of middle school, she moved from Daejeon to Seoul to begin her trainee program, spending seven and a half years as a trainee across agencies, including MMO Entertainment and Attrakt. Despite being slated for debut multiple times, those groups disbanded before she could officially step onto the stage, leading her to work part-time jobs to cover her living expenses in Seoul.
Keena finally debuted as a member of Fifty Fifty, a group that would later achieve global recognition with their hit song "Cupid." However, the group soon became embroiled in a highly publicized legal dispute with their agency, Attrakt. During this period, Keena experienced significant personal hardship, including symptoms consistent with PTSD for several months following the scandal, even as promotions for a new lineup were underway. The emotional toll was so severe that she required a hiatus around the time her former group-mates debuted in "Ablume".
Keena is the sole original member of Fifty Fifty to remain with Attrakt after the dispute. She later explained that the fact she was the only member who had personal contact with Attrakt's CEO, along with the discovery that her signature had been falsified on documents, helped her realize she was on the wrong side of the conflict. This realization allowed her to withdraw from the legal battle, ultimately preserving her position with the company while the other members lost theirs.
Following the resolution of the contract dispute, Keena actively participated in preparing for Fifty Fifty's re-debut with the new members. She earned her own room in the company dormitory but often shares it with the other group members or having sleepovers.
Demonstrating personal support for the new members, she notably took Athena to buy an entire wardrobe when Athena moved to Korea with minimal belongings.
Keena holds a small share in the success of "Cupid" and, upon receiving a considerable amount from the group's first settlement, generously donated 10 million Won to charity.
