Rosé

Rosé (로제) is a South Korean Female Soloist and Idol(Born in New Zealand) who debuted solo in 2021. She started in group Blackpink.

She have 3 songs among the most popular in Korea.

Born in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in Melbourne, Australia, she developed a passion for music from a young age, learning to play guitar and piano and singing in church choirs. In 2012, at her father's suggestion, she attended a YG Entertainment audition in Sydney, where she placed first out of 700 participants. She then signed as a trainee and moved to South Korea.

During her four-year training period, Rosé had a notable pre-debut feature on G-Dragon's song "Without You" from his 2012 EP One of a Kind. Her credit was revealed only after her announcement as a member of BLACKPINK.

Rosé officially debuted as a member of BLACKPINK 2016. As the main vocalist and lead dancer, her distinct vocal tone and powerful performances quickly made her a standout.

In March 2021, Rosé became the second BLACKPINK member to make a solo debut with her single album "R", featuring the lead single "On the Ground" and the B-side "Gone". "On the Ground" set records for the highest first-week sales by a Korean female soloist at the time and became the first song by a Korean solo artist to top both the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. She also earned two Guinness World Records for these achievements.

In November 2023, she was awarded Honorary member of the "Order of the British Empire", 5th class, in England, along the other members of BlackPink.

In June 2024, Rosé officially signed with The Black Label for her solo activities. She released her debut solo album, "Rosie", in December 2024, featuring the hit collaboration "APT." with Bruno Mars, which achieved significant chart success.
