Solar (솔라) is a South Korean Female Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 2015. She started in group Mamamoo.
Solar initially dreamed of being a flight attendant and had no prior musical background until deciding to try auditions. She reportedly auditioned for numerous agencies (some sources say over 50!) before joining RBW and debuting as MAMAMOO's leader and main vocalist.
Known for her powerful vocals and energetic stage presence. She has a very successful solo career and a popular YouTube channel
