Yuha plays the piano and won first place in the school piano division of a music competition in 2017. She was street-cast by SM Entertainment on three separate occasions: In 2017, in front of her school, which led to her joining SM; In 2021, while already a trainee in Seoul; Again in 2023, on her way to the dentist.
She trained for seven years before debuting with Hearts2Hearts.
