Hwasa (화사) is a South Korean Female Soloist and Idol who debuted solo in 2019. She started in group Mamamoo.

She have 4 songs among the most popular in Korea.

Hwasa was childhood friends with Wheein and endured criticism about her appearance during her trainee days, but received featuring offers from many singers due to her outstanding skills. She was determined to prove critics wrong and debuted with Mamamoo in 2014.

Known for her bold, confident image and unique vocal color, she has an incredibly successful solo career, challenging traditional K-pop beauty standards. She has also raised a lot of eyebrows for her revealing outfits in public.

After her contract with RBW ended, she signed with P Nation for her solo endeavors, while continuing group activities with Mamamoo.
